Hello Kindness Cubbies!

Say “Hi” to little Singa and his friends Tomeo, Sher, Tosh and Kalle!

Singa has been reimagined as a lion cub living in the picturesque town of Kindsville. Together with his friends, the kindness cubbies, they get into adventures and escapades and learn the importance of values along the way.

A five-minute clip will be uploaded on the SKM youtube page every quarter, with each episode focusing on a different character value. This series will run throughout 2012, and can be used as a resource for teaching the value to young children.

The first episode was released in October last year, to encourage everyone to embody appreciation as we celebrated World Kindness Day in November. The second episode, which was released in mid January 2012, promotes empathy.

An accompanying newsletter called Kindsville Times is also made available to all primary schools in Singapore. Educators can also go online to www.kindness.sg/kindsville to download supplementary material which they may find useful when teaching children.
