It’s Baby Love…

It is love at first sight for Baby Keane. At three months, Singa became the love of his life. Fourteen months later today, that love is still burning bright. Mom Sherlyn would have had her hands full placating Keane if he got restless from our tropical heat or simply kicking a fuss if not for Singa.
It started when granddad handed Mom Sherlyn some Singa fans. The irresistibly cute cut-out face of Singa became Keane’s plaything. Keane’s parents would play peek-a-boo with it or wave at Keane. A familiar smiley face, Singa would now get tagged along with the family whether as a fan or a plush toy.
To this day, Keane gets excited whenever he sees Singa – at the Botanic Gardens, MRT station or just about anywhere Singa is installed. Keane would wave at it from a distance, or even pat it. Once, Keane even affectionately put his head on Singa’s lap! Now that is the stuff baby love is made of.
