We all know Singa… don’t we?

Singaporeans, young and old, were asked if they recognised Singa, and if they remember slogans of campaigns from yesteryear, during “Singapore: Discovered!”, a infotainment programme on Channel News Asia.

In a special National Day themed episode, to be aired on 7 Aug, the production team takes to sidewalks of Singapore in a segment called, Street Talk. Here, people-on-the-street are tested on their knowledge of popular campaigns of Singapore from the 1970s and 1980s.

Tune in to see if you can recall the lines to certain campaign jingles or slogans, or identify the campaign from the poster. Singa is also set to make an appearance, as one of Singapore’s most beloved mascot!

“Singapore: Discovered!”, airs every Saturday on Channel News Asia at 8.30pm. The next episode with the National Day theme will air on 7 Aug.
