Thank you arh?
Ever since October last year, I’ve been hearing the words “Thank You Ah” from someone closest to me – My mother. And mind you, it’s almost every night i get to hear it from her. =)
She’s 71 this year. Mum has been having knee cap problems for more than a year and I suppose it’s due to osteoarthritis. Almost every night, I will treat mum like my patient while I imagine myself as a TCM doctor and started to do cupping for both her legs ( I learnt this skills from her previous sinseh). After 15 minutes of cupping, I will massage her legs using my thumbs and rubbed those spider veins with some ointment.
After the overall session, my mother will always smile and say ” Thank you arh.” Sometimes she even called me sinseh jokingly. In fact i’m not. =p
Saying the word “Thank You” might seems difficult for someone. But my mother is Never Selfish to Smile say “Thank You” to whoever who ever help her. Say for example, a public gave up his/her seat for my mum, when mum’s asking bus driver for directions etc.
I would like to say …
Thank You Mum, for bringing me into this world and I’ve learnt that it really feels Great to help people who are in need. You are not a burden to me, doing cupping and massaging is just my way of saying Thank You to you for being my mother, my soulmate and my teacher. =)
